80. Can I make MP3s or MP3 CDs from Music I Purchase from the iTunes Music Store?

Short answer, No. Apple prevents users from using their secured AAC files being encoded into MP3.

Setting your burning prefs in iTunes to MP3 DOES NOT remedy this situation.

The only ways to get the files to MP3 is to either
1. Burn them as a regular music CD then import them as MP3s 2. Copy the AACs into Toast, then save the resulting AIFFs to disk and import those as MP3s.
