14. Can I use ATA/IDE drives larger than 128GB with my Mac?

The current generation of PowerMacs (released 8/02) can make full use of these drives. Other Macs can use them, but only 128GB of the space will be usable.
To make full use of these large drives inside other Macs, you need either:
- an ATA/133 PCI card (Acard, Sonnet, and SIIG have Mac cards available)
or
- Intech HDST drivers. The Intech solution works with OS9 and with OSX 10.2 or later. It does not work with versions of OSX earlier than 10.2.
